Social markets are emerging as one of the main strategies for promoting and consolidating Solidarity Economy at territorial level. Social markets emerge bottom up, and are formed by all those people and organizations who develop an economic activity of production, distribution, consumption and savings / investment, developed under social, democratic, sustainable, and environmentally and common goods-friendly criteria. They involve a combination of various tools like social audits, mapping, education for development, or sectorial and territorial meetings.
